Egyptian Sherrod burst into tears.
In fact, the 2023 Inman Influencer is a regular on her “Egypt and Mike’s Marriage & Money Podcast” with husband Mike Jackson as well as her popular HGTV reality show Marriage with real estate.
She also leads a home furnishing brand, Indigo Road, which also recently launched the Indigo Road Training Center, a state-of-the-art center for real estate agents, and of course her brokerage, Indigo Road Realty.
Today, she will appear on stage at Luxury Connect in Las Vegas.

Ahead of her appearance on Connect, Inman chatted with Sherrod via email (she’s enjoying a well-earned vacation) to learn more about her plans for Las Vegas and the recently announced fourth season. Marriage with real estate.
Inman: What are you most looking forward to when attending Inman Connect Las Vegas for the first time?
Sherrod, Egypt: I’m looking forward to connecting with some of my amazing agent friends who have traveled from far and wide to attend. Of course, there’s also building relationships and networking, and having your finger on the pulse of the next hottest technology in our industry.
What do you love most about Las Vegas?
To me, it’s all about the lights and action of the strip! Whenever I’m in town I always want to see a good show.
What can you tell us about the recently announced fourth season? Marriage with real estate?
It has just been announced that our exhibitions now cover 19 countries. This is still unbelievable! The fact that we come from such humble beginnings and the show has become such an international hit is incredible. Mike and I are so grateful for everyone’s deep love and loyal viewers.
In Season 3, fans saw us introduce Indigo Road. Now in its fourth season, they’ve seen the company grow into not only a strong real estate agency, but also a legacy brand with a portfolio of companies under the Indigo Road umbrella, including a full design firm and a home division.
We also have some great clients that fans may know (wink wink), and the project and family are growing! That’s all I can share for now.
Do you have any fun plans for Inman Connect in Vegas? What do you do, or where do you go to eat?
Before I went to Cincinnati to speak, I actually spent 20 hours there. Do you believe?
But in that time, I have several great business meetings planned, a fireside chat about brand building on the main stage at Inman, a delicious dinner at Giada’s, and a quick shopping trip!
