This visit proved I could stay home. The coaches told me everything I needed to hear – what the future holds, and they showed me and my family. “

Clemson made a big push for the talented four-star WR, but Mississippi State always stayed up front with Alfred.

Honestly, I’ve been there so many times that I can see myself on Saturday. Performing on the field at night the school and everything about it is home.
During his return to campus on Saturday, Alfred met with Lane Kiffin and receivers coach. george macdonald again.
“Talking to Coach Kiffin, talking to Coach McDonald, the University of Mississippi is a great place because they’ve been there since day one,” he continued. “They were consistent. They showed crazy love for me and my family. It really stood out.”
“The University of Mississippi has a history of developing wide receivers, and I feel like I can be a part of that,” Alfred asserted. “I can make an impact at Mississippi State. I’ve been around the wide receivers at Mississippi State a lot and I feel like Mississippi State can help me get to the next level.”
