The $549.99 OnePlus Pad 2 may have just launched, but the original is still a worthy choice, and now the new model is $170 less. From now until August 6th, you can choose First generation OnePlus Pad Woot is on sale for $379.99 ($100 off), its lowest price ever. Sure, the old Pad may not have a 12.1-inch display or a nifty vibrating stylus that makes you feel like you’re writing on paper, but its 11.6-inch LCD has some great specs, including a fast 144Hz refresh rate, crisp 2800 x 2000 resolution.
OnePlus’ first tablet was a pleasant surprise when it launched last year, as the new kid on the block offered great performance at an affordable price. That’s thanks in part to a snappy MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of base storage, as well as an impressive four-speaker system with Dolby Atmos support. It doesn’t skimp on build or screen quality, though, and like the Google Pixel tablet and other Android tablets, it still suffers from a somewhat lackluster app ecosystem and offers few advanced multitasking features. Still, it’s an all-around great package that’s hard to beat for the price.
