We may have to wait a while to see it, but tonight HBO gave us our first great look at it the last of us‘Back in action, it looks like we’re in a world of hurt.
Published as part of an extended preview of content coming next year Dragon HouseNew footage from tonight’s season finale (stay tuned for our recap tomorrow!) is short, but offers some interesting hints that season two will be based on the award-winning Naughty Dog sequel.

Not only does the footage give us a new look at what Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey’s Joel and Ellie are up to (mostly having a bad time); Featuring new and returning major characters, including Joel’s brother Tommy (Gabrielle Luna), this appears to be the first time we’ve seen Abby (Caitlin Dever), Dina (Isabelle Merced) and Jeffrey Wright reprise their roles as Isaac in the game. We also get our first look at the mysterious new character of Catherine O’Hara, who asks Joel an interesting question that seems to be about Ellie: “Did you hurt her?”
