Wrinkles, your days are numbered! As a beauty tech enthusiast, the NIRA Pro Laser caught my attention. I’ve used everything from LED masks to expensive red light panels.
I’ve been chasing the technological source of youth – but I haven’t discovered it yet. No, don’t tell me to “age gracefully.” The only reason I haven’t had Botox on my face yet is because I have an extreme fear of needles. Beyond that, bring anti-aging tools, treatments and skin care routines, as well as my vitamin C serum and tretinoin.
NIRA Pro is my latest skincare obsession. I first discovered it when it was spotlighted as a CES 2024 Innovation Awards nominee. Sign up!

NIRA Pro is a home laser designed to provide users with professional-grade results. After 90 days of use, NIRA claims its skin care device reduces wrinkles and renews skin by stimulating collagen production. But the question is, does it really work?
NIRA Pro laser price
NIRA Pro Laser sells for $599 on the NIRA official website.
NIRA also sells the NIRA Precision Laser, which costs $449.
NIRA Pro Laser and NIRA Pro Laser NIRA Precision Laser
The first is the NIRA precision laser. It has a narrow head, allowing users to target wrinkles and other skin care concerns more, well, precisely.

However, a small drawback of the Precision device is that it takes too long. Can you imagine standing in front of the mirror and pressing its little head on every extra wrinkle? If you’re 27 and losing your mind due to some thick lines, this is a great option. But if you hit a “trouble zone,” NIRA Pro Laser is your best choice.

The NIRA Pro Laser has a larger head to cover more surface area of your face. In contrast, the NIRA precision laser is better suited for treating hard-to-reach wrinkles.
Therefore, if you only have a few fine lines to deal with, or they are located in areas with greater curvature (such as the inner corners of the eyes), you will be better off using the NIRA Precision Laser. But if your tasks are beyond what the Precision Laser can handle, the NIRA Pro laser can meet your needs.
In this review, I only tested the NIRA Pro laser.

What is the science behind NIRA Pro Laser?
The NIRA Pro laser stimulates collagen production in the skin. how? It uses NIRA’s patented laser technology to deliver “non-segmented, non-ablative laser energy density” into your dermis.
If this sounds like gobbledygook to you (as it once did to me), allow me to explain. Non-fractional means laser coverage all You point to the area (rather than just tiny dots) so you can treat your target area evenly.
Non-ablative means the laser does not remove any layers of skin, so in theory it should be relatively painless.
The NIRA Pro laser warms your skin. The temperature is hot enough to initiate the formation of heat shock proteins (HSPs), but cold enough to initiate the formation of heat shock proteins (HSPs). should Stay below the pain threshold.

Think of heat shock proteins as your skin’s molecular firefighters. When the NIRA Pro laser applies pressure to your skin, it releases an SOS signal, so to speak, inviting HSPs to arrive and stimulate skin regeneration. They also boost collagen production, which tends to slow down as we age.
How to use NIRA Pro laser?
I always make sure my skin is makeup-free and clean before using NIRA Pro Laser. After drying my face, I turned on the Pro Laser and tapped it a few times to set the treatment level to its highest level.

Next, I use the NIRA Pro Laser to treat my biggest pet peeves: crow’s feet and under-eye wrinkles. I started by placing the NIRA Pro Laser on my crow’s feet and I could feel a wave of heat hitting my skin. I have to hold the NIRA Pro Laser there until I hear the beep. (If you hear a rejection tone, you did not place the Pro Laser on the skin correctly and you should redo that part).
It takes me less than a minute to remove crow’s feet and under-eye wrinkles from both eyes.
After the NIRA Pro Laser, I continued with my skin care, which is a personalized formula from the skin care brand I’ve been using, Curology.
NIRA Pro laser design
NIRA Pro Laser makes me feel like I’m holding some kind of anti-wrinkle weapon. It looks like a futuristic ray gun and makes my wrinkles disappear with just one click. The extended handle makes the NIRA Pro Laser easy to hold. Its opening is where the laser escapes and can attack any area you choose to place the laser.

There’s a power button on the front as well as a USB-C port for charging. (The NIRA Pro Laser comes with a USB-C cable, but as far as the charging brick is concerned, you’ll need to figure that out yourself.)
On top of the USB-C port, you’ll find an LED indicator that flashes when the battery is depleted.
The NIRA Pro Laser is also ultra-light and compact. I took it with me to multiple locations, including London and California for WWDC 2024.

You’ll also find an LED light on top of the power button, with five power levels. I high It is recommended that you start with the lowest level to test your tolerance for NIRA Pro Laser. As you continue to use your NIRA Pro Laser over time, feel free to climb the power level ladder until you reach the highest setting.
Does the NIRA Pro laser hurt?
I used the highest settings throughout the experiment (doing what I say, not what I do). I wouldn’t say NIRA Pro is completely Painless. For the most part, the experience is comfortable. But every once in a while, I find myself frowning. Sometimes, I feel uncomfortable because I feel like something has changed also Very suitable for my taste.

However, throughout my time using the NIRA Pro Laser, I never suffered any kind of burn or injury. On rare occasions, I’ve noticed some temporary redness, but no peeling or anything dramatic.
NIRA Pro laser battery life
NIRA Pro Laser is built to last week One charge. I took the NIRA Pro Laser with me on a three-week vacation and never had to charge it once.

You can ditch the charging cable altogether. Again, I only used the NIRA Pro Laser for less than a minute—and I’m not exaggerating. So I’m not using a lot of energy or electricity, so it runs for a pretty long time. when it Do When the battery is low, you’ll see a flashing LED light telling you it’s time to charge.
Does NIRA Pro Laser really work? before and after photos
I started using NIRA Pro Laser in March this year. About 48 days later, a month and a half into the 90-day treatment, I checked to see if there were any noticeable changes.
At first glance, I didn’t notice any profound differences in the before and after photos. If anything, my crow’s feet have appeared deepen. So I contacted the NIRA team to help make sense of it. However, with the help of the NIRA team, I realized there were some developments that I had not initially noticed. Post-op photos show that my eyes are lifted, dark circles are brighter, and fine lines under my eyes are reduced.
Of course, this only takes about 48 days – NIRA claims it takes 90 days, or three months, to see any noticeable results. So I decided to stick with NIRA Pro. Below are my 90-day treatment results, the former photo is from my first day of using the device in March, and the latter photo is a snapshot from mid-July.

Okay, I will. It actually works!
My crow’s feet and wrinkles under my eyes have been significantly reduced. You’ll need a magnifying glass to see the difference, but hey, the NIRA Pro Laser delivers on its promise.
Is NIRA Pro Laser worth buying?
I have the patience of a caffeine addict waiting in line at Starbucks. I want to get rid of my wrinkles – I want to do it Now. I don’t want to wait weeks, months, or a season. Unfortunately, life doesn’t work like that. Although this cliché makes me want to roll my eyes, “consistency is key,” especially when using the NIRA Pro Laser. And, most importantly, you need to be patient.
Even after 90 days, while my skin did improve, the effects were subtle. It took three months See if my crow’s feet are noticeably smoother. It looks like things will get worse before they get better. However, the key word here is “better.” The proof is in the pictures. my skin did Get better. It just took a while to get there. And it will take more time to get the results I want.
The good thing is that NIRA Pro Laser facilitates quick at-home treatment. Whether you’re a busy parent or an overwhelmed worker bee, you can always find time to use the NIRA Pro Laser. It only takes a minute or two.
So, NIRA Pro Laser is totally worth it. This is the best beauty tech device I’ve used in 2024.
