Elon Musk’s X filed an antitrust lawsuit in Texas federal court on Tuesday, seeking treble damages and injunctive relief against the left-leaning advertising cartel and several member companies.
The lawsuit alleges that X was the target of an illegal advertising boycott.
The lawsuit was filed against the Global Alliance for Responsible Media, its parent company the World Federation of Advertisers (WFA), and GARM members CVS Health, Mars, Orsted and Unilever, which reportedly control 90% of global marketing efforts .

She also shared an open letter to advertisers.
“Simply put, people are harmed when the marketplace of ideas is disrupted and certain views are not funded relative to others as part of an illegal boycott. This behavior is a stain on a great industry and cannot be allowed to continue Go down.
“This case is about more than just damage – we must repair the broken ecosystem that allows this illegal activity to occur.”
“This is not a decision we make lightly and is a direct result of their actions,” Yaccarino added. “The illegal conduct of these organizations and their executives has caused billions of dollars in damage.”

Rumble announced that they have joined the X lawsuit.

The lawsuit comes after a federal judge ruled on Monday that Google illegally monopolized the search market and violated antitrust laws.
The ruling by U.S. District Court Judge Amit Mehta for the District of Columbia marks the first antitrust ruling against a technology company in decades.
