Even Fox News said that Tim Walz has an understanding of rural America that Trump does not possess.
As heard on Fox News:
In Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania, large numbers of white men without college degrees voted in 2016 but did not vote in 2020. People and getting them to vote in 2024 will give Donald Trump an opportunity in Wisconsin.
Give him opportunities at Michigan and Penn State. Brett, I agree with you. I mean, this guy hunts, he ice fishes, you know, he’s one of those guys. He talked about rural America and how Donald Trump doesn’t understand it and on the other hand, Donald Trump and the former president and J.D. Vance are talking directly to these people and trying to get these people to be like they’re building alliances.

If Walz closed the gap between Trump and whites without college degrees in the Midwest by even a single point, it would be enough to help Kamala Harris win states like Michigan and Wisconsin.
Donald Trump never tries to talk about hunting, fishing and country life because he knows nothing about it.
Trump chose fake hillbilly J.D. Vance to try to boost support among rural voters, but Walz is the real deal. As someone who grew up and lives in rural America, Walz’s presence should give Republicans plenty to worry about.
