Congressman trying to impeach Kamala Harris raided by FBI

Rep. Andy Ogles (R-Tenn.) raided by FBI as he attempts to impeach Vice President Kamala Harris Relating to fraudulent campaign finance reporting.

NewsChannel 5 confirms FBI agents executed a search warrant late last week on Tennessee Congressman Andy Ogles, a first-term Republican who faces ongoing litigation over his filing of fraudulent campaign finance reports review.

Details of exactly which areas were authorized remain unclear, although people familiar with such investigations said the search warrant was likely limited to Ogles’ electronic devices.

Ogles has been under investigation by the FBI for months for potential felonies related to his campaign finance reporting. The FBI investigation dates back to May, so the FBI warrant has nothing to do with Harris or the campaign.

It’s appropriate for a potentially guilty member of Congress to try to impeach Kamala Harris because it didn’t happen, and even if it did, it wasn’t a high crime or misdemeanor.

The person who might end up going down in this scenario is Andy Ogles, not Kamala Harris.
