Ava Hunt, the daughter of Kansas City Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt, is on the road to recovery after a hiking accident that required her to be taken to the hospital.
Ava’s mother, Tavia Shackles, posted about her daughter’s recovery on her Instagram Stories earlier this week, Page Six reported. The post expired Wednesday.

“This little guy fell down a hill while hiking today and went to the ER for surgery on a deep wound,” Shackles wrote, along with a photo of her and Ava. “It’s been a long day.
“Praise God, she is recovering and already smiling. Please pray for her quick and full recovery.”
Hunter later posted that she was home watching Simone Biles perform on the balance beam.

“Update: Surgery went well and I’m back home watching my favorite @simonebiles!!” she wrote on her Story. “I feel great (but I’m probably still a little on drugs).

Ava Hunter is the younger sister of Gracie Hunter, who is often seen on the sideline for the Chiefs. Their parents are Clark Hunter and Tavia Shax.

Ava Hunt recently graduated from a private Christian high school and is heading to Singapore Management University (SMU).
