Reporters on the scene observed that the number of people attending the Harris Waltz event in Michigan was the largest at a Democratic campaign event since 2016.

JD Vance drew a crowd estimated to be in the hundreds 30 miles from Detroit, while Harris and Walz have spoken to 12,000 people in Wisconsin.
Comparisons to the 2008 Obama campaign shouldn’t be made lightly, but there’s a special energy that continues to build around the Harris campaign. It’s an energy that Donald Trump and his running mate can’t match, and it’s almost as important to Republicans that Trump seems to have no interest in trying.
If this is what Harris and Walz deliver for the Midwest, Trump and the Republican Party could be facing a huge problem.
These groups of people with this energy are what make up the electoral blowout.
