Donald Trump holds press conferences because he wants attention, but what he presents to America is disastrous for his chances of winning.
It’s hard to pick one moment from Trump’s press conference disasters, so here are a few:
Trump falsely claims former California Attorney General Kamala Harris couldn’t pass the bar exam:

Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro is really popular, so Trump Attack him:

Trump later attacked all Jews who supported Harris:

Trump claimed that the crowd at his 1/6 sedition speech was larger than the crowd at Martin Luther King’s March on Washington:

Trump spent a lot of time on the size of the crowd and lied about both him and Harris. Trump lied about Afghanistan. He lied about Harris’ stance on Israel. Trump falsely claimed the 2020 election was stolen, and he protected Hillary Clinton from jail.
Mostly, though, Trump looks incredibly crazy, old, incoherent, and like he doesn’t know how to compete with Kamala Harris. The negativity of his remarks was extraordinary.
Donald Trump believes the best way to counter the enthusiasm of the Harris-Walz campaign is to warn the United States that the country will soon face another Great Depression and World War III.
Rather than fixing his campaign problems, Trump may have botched it by using a press conference to remind voters why they rejected him in 2020 and how the former president appears to be even crazier in 2024.
