Joe Biden’s schedule this week has renewed curiosity about why the man is still president of the United States.
His official schedule includes two phone calls and a meeting before heading out for an early weekend trip to his beach house in Delaware on Thursday.
What other job in the world has such an itinerary? Big things are happening across the country, and Joe appears to be on permanent leave.
Biden’s schedule this week is truly ridiculous. 1 phone call on Monday. Tuesday or Wednesday is fine. Make a call and ceremony on Thursday, then head to the beach house.
Any employee or executive who does so will be fired. Biden is the leader of the free world and works a 10-hour week. pic.twitter.com/JKDO1jEilP

Biden’s schedule for this week includes 2 phone calls and 1 meeting before heading to beach house
President Joe Biden’s schedule is once again noticeably empty for the week of Aug. 4-10, with the 81-year-old commander-in-chief’s top events being two phone calls with the 2023 World Series champion Texas Rangers and a meeting.
Biden, who dropped out of the 2024 race last month but insisted he maintains the mental and physical ability to continue serving as president, said he spoke by phone with Jordan’s King Abdullah on Monday before traveling from Delaware flew home to the White House.
The president’s next major event this week is scheduled for Thursday afternoon, when he will call Hawaii Democratic Gov. Josh Green and Maui County Executive Richard Beason “to commemorate the tragic wildfires on Maui and The first anniversary of the victims. Later Thursday, Biden will meet with the Texas Rangers at the White House to “celebrate their 2023 World Series championship season.”
Kamala Harris, meanwhile, spends all her time campaigning for Joe’s job. Who is running the country?
