Jeff Buongiorno provides a template for all candidates in the upcoming 2024 election to address non-citizen voting in elections.
Candidates for Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections propose a solution to prevent non-citizens from voting in the 2024 election.
Jeff Buongiorno is fighting for election integrity in Palm Beach County, President Trump’s home district. He will do this by running for Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections.
But there’s more to this story. The following is from Buongiorno’s website:
Lobbying efforts by Florida Democrats to allow non-citizens to assist with voter registration have faced backlash and led to legislation aimed at preserving election integrity. Florida’s “election integrity” bill passed in 2023 includes important provisions that prevent non-citizens from participating in the voter registration process:
However, the regulation is currently facing a legal challenge, with federal Judge Walker issuing a preliminary injunction that could undermine these protections.
Synthetic identities and voter fraud
Buongiono expressed serious concerns about the possibility of synthetic identities infiltrating the voter registration system. He explained how those lacking proper photo ID could require multiple mail-in ballots, compromising the integrity of the election:
“Synthetic IDs are allowed to be used to vote without the need to present photo ID. Synthetic IDs may require up to three mail-in ballots.
Conclusion: A call to action
Buengiorno’s solution to this looming constitutional crisis was clear and decisive:
“The people of Palm Beach County must file an emergency injunction requiring proof of U.S. citizenship for every registered voter. If the state cannot provide proof, the voter registration database must be purged and all voters must re-register as required by law.
This approach is designed to ensure that only eligible citizens participate in elections, thereby safeguarding the sanctity of our democratic process.
Buengiorno filed a lawsuit to prevent noncitizens from voting in the election. Buongiorno has launched the first case, seeking injunctive relief from NGOs down to the state and local levels that Mayor Cass is complicit in trying to influence the 2024 election.
