Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minnesota, reminded the media that Kamala Harris had only been running for president for three weeks and complained that she had yet to hold a press conference.
ABC’s transcript of this week:
Carr: Okay, Charlamagne also said something, and actually J.D. Vance also said something. That’s one of the few things they absolutely agree on, you know, Kamala Harris No press conference has been held yet. She has been in this state for 21 days. She has yet to give a single interview. Why is this happening?
KLOBUCHAR: Twenty-one days, Jonathan.
Carl: Three weeks.
Klobuchar: She started running for president. Yes – no, let me –
Carl: Yeah, okay. go ahead.
KLOBUCHAR: She did a lot of interviews before this. She has interviewed you. She has been interviewed. I’m sure she’ll be interviewed. Just last night in Nevada, she was interviewed by the media.
I read some of her answers as if she were going to address the press. I think the debate itself is Donald Trump Where he once retreated, he retreated, now he came back determined at the press conference.
For me, this is going to be a big moment where you’re going to see a very different vision for this country and different people. People in this country, if you look at what’s happening with the momentum and the polls and what’s happening in swing states like Wisconsin, as the numbers are changing, what’s happening in Michigan, what’s happening in Pennsylvania, It’s unbelievable.

The idea of Donald Trump holding a press conference is pure fantasy. Trump gathered reporters. reporters asked questions. Trump did not answer the question. As MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell pointed out, Trump never answers these questions.
Harris will have ample time to be interviewed and answer questions. Her campaign has just begun, spending a week connecting with voters in swing states.
The question itself is silly, but Harris made it clear that her priority right now is voters, not reporters.
