It was absolutely amazing that Kamala Harris stole Trump’s “no tax on tips” idea at a campaign event in Las Vegas last weekend.
Perhaps even more surprising is looking at how the media handles this issue.
CBS News is mired in blatant media bias. When Trump first raised the issue, the way they covered it was completely different than the way they covered it for Kamala Harris.
In June, when Trump first made the point, CBS said:
“Former President Donald Trump’s vow to end taxes on tips will cost the federal government as much as $250 billion over 10 years, according to a nonpartisan watchdog group.”

Now Kamala Harris has this to say, CBS News says:
“Vice President Kamala Harris is rolling out a new policy position saying she will work to eliminate taxes on tips for service and hotel workers.”

Breitbart News adds this important point:
To make matters worse, Harris voted to pass legislation in 2022 that would allow the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to track workers’ tips so they can tax them.
On August 7, 2022, Harris cast the decisive vote to pass the Inflation Reduction Act, which provided $80 billion in additional funding to the IRS before it began cracking down on the service industry for tax purposes Report tipping behavior.
The revelation became a top trend on contradiction.
Also, note the framing in this CBS News video.

This is why Trump calls the media the enemy of the people. They work hard every day to earn this title.
