Kamala Harris seems eager to avoid questions from the media.
Fox News’ Peter Doocy reported tonight that Harris ditched her traveling press corps to attend an event at Howard University.
Surprisingly, most of the media simply tolerated her behavior because they didn’t want to say or do anything that might threaten her candidacy.
From Twitter/X:
NEW: Peter Doocy reveals Vice President Kamala Harris ditched her press team to avoid interviews with the media.
“Vice President Harris should travel everywhere with the press corps. We just learned she left the press to attend an event at Howard University.
She really didn’t want to talk to the American people without a teleprompter.

Did she think no one noticed her fear of answering questions?
From Fox News:
23 days: Kamala Harris hasn’t held a press conference since becoming the presumptive Democratic nominee
Vice President Kamala Harris had not held a formal news conference or sat down for an interview in 23 days as of Tuesday since becoming the Democratic presidential nominee.
Harris became the de facto nominee after President Biden withdrew from the race on July 21, endorsing Harris, and she has since been formally confirmed. She kept busy on the campaign trail, speaking at events and informally addressing reporters on various occasions, but she held no formal news conferences or extensive interviews for more than three weeks.
Harris, who came under growing criticism on that front, spoke briefly to reporters traveling with her to Michigan on Thursday. In just over a minute, she said she was looking forward to a Sept. 10 debate with former President Trump on ABC and a speech for her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz. (Tim Walz)’s military record was defended.
She figured she could keep gliding like this, but at some point, she was going to have to answer questions.
