J.D. Vance was in Michigan today when the owner of a local trucking company got a chance to speak and he blasted the economy and inflation caused by the Biden/Harris administration.
He said his company had tried to expand and give employees raises, but that was not possible. He then said he hoped Trump would be elected and J.D. Vance serve as vice president.
The working class knows who’s better for the economy, and it’s not Kamala Harris.

“We’re trying to give our employees a raise, but under this administration, inflation is up 20% since 2021 and it’s a little hard to keep up… We have to get Donald Trump elected and J.D. as vice president !

WLNS News has more coverage of Vance’s remarks at the event:
Republican vice presidential candidate J.D. Vance visited Kent County on Wednesday to drum up support for former President Trump, focusing on the economy and manufacturing jobs.
The senator from Ohio spoke at Cordes, Inc., a materials trucking company located on Sedroc Industrial Drive SW in Byron Township, south of Grand Rapids.
“We’re going to take back the White House, we’re going to restore American manufacturing, we’re going to restore this entire country, and it starts in Michigan,” Vance said, as supporters gathered at the event applauded.
He took aim at Democrats’ energy policies, criticizing green energy initiatives and saying they were crafted for donors rather than working people. He pledged to increase domestic oil production while Trump was in the White House.
“We know that when politicians like Kamala Harris fail to do their job, it’s ordinary Americans who suffer the most,” Vance said. “This November, my friends, we will turn the page on this. A page of failed leadership. We will make America great again, and we will do it by electing Donald J. Trump as President of the United States.
Working-class Michiganders would do well to make smart choices in November.
