It’s that time of year again! Credo Beauty Official Sale, 20% Off on the Best Clean Beauty Brands!
So of course I had to stop and share the best clean beauty brands and clean beauty products so you can stock up on the best clean beauty products this year. It ends this Tuesday, October 29th at midnight, so now is the time. Free shipping too!
What is Creed Beauty?
I’ve been addicted to Credo Beauty since living in San Francisco, and I think I forgot that not everyone knows what Credo Beauty is. Credo is a marketplace to shop for clean beauty brands and products. Similar to Sephora, except they only offer clean beauty. This means everything you buy there can be guaranteed to be free of harmful ingredients.
They have multiple locations in the country (including San Francisco), but they also ship all over the United States, so don’t worry if they don’t have a location near you.
They have an annual sale every year with 20% off everything! I always use this as an opportunity to stock up on some of my clean beauty products and favorite brands. If you’re looking to try new products or make the switch to clean beauty, now is the time to buy.
Clean Beauty Products Worth Stocking Up on
I’m always looking for new clean beauty products to try and test (whether from Credo or not), but every year when Credo announces its annual sale, I see it as an opportunity to stock up on some of my favorite products.
ILIA Super Serum Skin Tint – This stuff is liquid gold. The perfect tinted SPF to add a good moisture barrier during the cold winter months.
Kosas Airbrow – My makeup routine is pretty simple these days thanks to baby, so combining brow gel with tint is crucial. I used a medium brown shade.
Tower28 Make Waves Mascara – While I love the ILIA Infinity Mascara, I recently got into Tower28’s Make Waves Mascara and honestly, it’s incredible. No flaking either!
Evolve Gentle Cleansing Melt – Of all the cleansing balms I’ve used (and there are many!), this is one of my favorites. I also found it to be slightly cheaper than other brands.
Evolve Hyaluronic Acid Serum – When I found out I was pregnant (and then breastfeeding) I had to replace my beloved Marie Veronique Retinol Serum, but I love this hyaluronic acid serum so much that it’s mine The same goes for skin!
Evolve Peptide 360 Moisturizer – I became obsessed with this brand last winter after the harsh Minnesota weather left my skin dry. I can’t live without these things now.
Evolve Bio-Retinol Gold Mask – Obviously I’m interested in Evolve skin care products. This is pretty much the only mask I use these days.
True Botanicals Calming Ginger Turmeric Cleansing Balm – Probably my favorite product. I love a good cleansing balm and this one is really great (I love to top it off with Evolve Cleansing Melt). It smells amazing and removes all my makeup in one go.
True Botanicals Chebula Serum – Absolutely love this serum. Sometimes I mix Pure Radiance Oil with a Vitamin C Booster before applying it. I’m not sure if it makes a huge difference compared to other serums I’ve used, but considering I haven’t used retinol in over 18 months and my skin is blemish-free, I’d like to believe it has some effect with this Kind of serum.
True Botanicals Renew Pure Radiance Oil – An amazingly effective facial oil. It absorbs quickly so you won’t feel greasy. At night, I sometimes find I want to add an extra cream on top (or before) if my skin is feeling extra dry, but for anyone looking for a lightweight oil, I highly recommend it!
Goop G.Tox Scalp Scrub – I want to hate this thing (because Goop…and it’s expensive), but it’s good! If your hair tends to build up a lot of product, this scalp scrub is a godsend.
Lolavie Intensive Repair Hair Mask – My go-to hair mask these days. I find it deeply repairs my hair and keeps it soft – especially after a harsh winter!
OSEA Wakame Body Oil – My go-to body oil these days. I apply it every night after I shower.
Best Clean Beauty Brands
“What are the best clean beauty brands on the market?” I get asked this question all the time, and I hope I can provide you all with a solid answer. As with traditional beauty, there are many clean beauty brands, each with their own ethos, product range and benefits. This number is increasing every day.
This list isn’t exhaustive, but hopefully it’s a start in your search for the best clean beauty brands to try.
Makeup brand:
Tower28 – Their lip glosses are incredible and their cream blushes and bronzers are hard to beat!
Kosas – They make cosmetics and body/skin care products. I personally love their makeup, their brow gel, lip balm, and setting powder are all great.
Han Skincare + Cosmetics – Han Skincare and Cosmetics produces high-quality pressed products at affordable prices. Their product line is smaller, but what they do have is great. I especially love their bronzer and blush.
ILIA – I have a love/hate relationship with ILIA (mostly love!). The products they specialize in are some of the best on the market (lipstick, mascara, blush), but they have a few other products that aren’t my favorite. Luckily, their feedback on product feedback is great and often leads to better formulas.
RMS – A doyen of the makeup world, RMS has been around for a while and has achieved some level of success. I think this is more of a clean beauty gloss. If you’re looking for an effortless no-makeup look, you’ll love RMS.
Skin care brand:
True Botanicals – I did a skin care review and absolutely loved many of their products. You’ll notice that I have some on my clean beauty products to stock up on.
Evolve Organic Beauty – I’m obviously a fan of all Evolve products as I have four products on my repurchase list. I have found this brand to be effective and won’t break the bank! If you want to get into clean beauty, this is definitely a great place to start.
Indie Lee – I truly believe that Indie Lee is one of the best bang for your buck. Their products are of high quality but not expensive. Their Squalane Oil is a great starter oil for anyone looking to moisturize with oil.
Marie Veronique – Expensive but worth every penny. Marie Veronique’s products combine natural and synthetic ingredients that are safe for your body and highly effective. I’m particularly impressed with their serums, they work really well, especially their gentle retinol.
Tata Harper – The granddaddy of clean beauty, Tata Harper has been around for a long time and its customers are loyal. Full transparency: I don’t really use their products because I think they are very expensive even for me. I’d love to try more of their product line, but even at 20% off it’s hard to prove that people like it and enjoy it.
*Note: This list only includes clean beauty brands sold at Credo as this is a 20% off sale. For a comprehensive look at the products I love, head over to Green Beauty Shop where I curate all of my favorite products.
Happy shopping!
