Piscataway, New Jersey – Nearly 700 potential customers showed up at the show Opponent combination series Saturday at Piscataway High School showed they have what it takes to be considered a major college football prospect. Here are eight prospects who stood out from the day.
Some of Saturday’s best test results belonged to Eber. The 2025 defensive lineman out of Connecticut ran a 4.9-second 40-yard dash and performed well in 3-cone and shuttle drills. Eber’s recruiting has been busy this year as well. He holds offers from Holy Cross, Air Force, Brown, Rhode Island, Cornell, Monmouth, Colgate, Leigh, Georgetown and Bryant. Syracuse University, Boston College, Rutgers University, Old Dominion University and the University of Maryland are among the schools that have expressed interest in Eber.
Funk traveled to New Jersey from the Boston area and had a strong showing on Saturday. The 6-foot-3, 225-pound guard recently had an offer from Wake Forest and played a 4.4-second shuttle. Funk is the younger brother of Boston College offensive lineman Jake Funk and is very interested in the local program.He left a very good impression Bill O’Brien and his coaching staff. Rutgers is also in a good position for Funk. He has recently arrived on campus and has a good relationship with the coaching staff. Funk also recently visited Syracuse and Wisconsin.

Georgia commit Darren Ikinnagbon makes first appearance Opponent combination series Before his recruitment began, his current teammates at Hillside, N.J., the Iggihon brothers, were hoping for the same result. Ivie Igiehon, a 6-foot-2.5, 223-pound outside linebacker in the Class of 2025, has drawn interest from Rutgers, Monmouth, Lehigh and others. His younger brother, Uyi Igiehon, who is enrolled in the Class of 2026, has yet to play a game but has drawn early interest as a 6-foot-4, 211-pound defensive end.

Fairfax (Va.) Paul VI is best known for its basketball team, but Johnson has been attracting the attention of East Coast football coaches. Maryland, Old Dominion, William & Mary and Columbia have recently contacted him. Johnson has visited Maryland, Virginia Tech, James Madison, Army and a few others, but he expects to camp out at Maryland, North Carolina and Tennessee this summer. On Saturday, he dashed for 40 yards in 4.6 seconds. Last season, Johnson caught six pass breakups as a defensive back and added 500 yards rushing and nine rushing touchdowns.

Baltimore (Md.) Mount St. Joseph has produced many top players over the years, and Cocos is one of them. The nearly 6-foot-7, 253-pound tight end is currently attracting interest from Maryland and James Madison, as well as Ivy League schools Penn, Dartmouth and Brown. Kolkos, a former baseball player, plans to visit and camp at Maryland, James Madison, Wake Forest, Pittsburgh, Ohio State and Penn State this summer.

Moore already has offers from Duke, West Virginia and Marshall, and should be joined by more after his results are announced on Saturday. The speedy New Jersey native ran a 6.9-second 3-cone run and a 4.3-second shuttle run. When Moore visited in March, the Blue Devils impressed him. He loved the campus, what it had in store for the players and the academic reputation of the university. Moore has visited Penn State, Rutgers, Syracuse and Tennessee so far, and he plans to travel to West Virginia, Marshall and Ohio State this summer.Colorado could be a program to watch in Moore’s recruitment, as his cousin is Buffalo’s assistant director of player personnel Devin Rhys Price.

Forestville (Md.) Bishop McNamara just signed Michigan State four-star defensive end Lugard Edokpai, and Murphy hopes to break out like his former teammate. The 2026 defensive end currently has no offers but has drawn interest from Penn State, Boston College, Richmond and Delaware. Murphy, who has a basketball background, plans to visit Maryland and Penn State this summer.
