Darius Morris, a former NBA player known for his time with the Los Angeles Lakers and other teams, has died at the age of 33. .

The circumstances of his death are currently unknown. TMZ reported that Morris’ body was found Thursday in the Los Angeles area.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son Darius Aaron Morris,” Morris’ family told TMZ.
“His family asks that you respect their wishes for privacy and grace during this transitional time,” the family added.
The Los Angeles Lakers expressed their sadness at the passing of Morris through a post on X. “We are heartbroken over the passing of Darius,” the post read.

“Morris was a second-round pick of the Lakers in the 2011 draft. Over four NBA seasons, he played in 132 games (17 starts) for the Lakers and four other teams, averaging 3.3 points per game. He continues Played professionally in China and France, last competing in the 2019-20 season,” ESPN reported.
