Do Dragon House Is there a trailer for season 2?
It has several! You can check out the first trailer here , which gives us a brief look at the bloody war for the Iron Throne. “A lot of people are going to die,” Allison Hightower (Olivia Cooke) tells us. Knowing how things tend to play out in Westeros, that might just be the understatement of the century.
HBO stepped up its trailer game in March 2024, releasing the “Duel Trailer.” The first supports the Black Team, who supported Rhaenyra’s succession to the throne after the late King Viserys (Paddy Considine) named her his heir. They include Rhaenyra’s uncle and husband Daemon (Matt Smith) and the Velaryon family, which includes Corlys (Steve Toussaint) and Rhaenys (Eve Best). Meanwhile, Rhaenyra’s eldest son Jacaerys (Harry Collett) hopes to increase those numbers by visiting the houses of the North – including the Starks!
Watch the dark trailer below to learn how Rhaenyra and her allies prepare for war, and how she plans to avenge the death of her son Lucerys (Elliot Grihart).
The second Duel trailer supports a team of Grimm led by Allison in an attempt to keep Aegon on the Iron Throne. In Season 1, Alicent misheard Viserys’s last words and believed he had changed his mind about Rhaenyra being his heir. Now, she and her allies – including her father Otto Hightower (Rhys Ifans) and knight Sir Kristen Cole (Fabian Frankel) – will do whatever it takes to Fulfilling Viserys’ last wish, which was to make Aegon king. The sadistic Aegon is ready for battle, as is his drama king brother Aemond (Evan Mitchell), who relishes the challenge of facing Daemon.
