The vivo V30e smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset from Elliptic Labs partner Qualcomm (NASDAQ: ). Elliptic Labs previously announced the contract.

AI virtual proximity sensor INNER BEAUTY
Elliptic Labs’ AI virtual proximity sensor detects when a user holds their phone to their ear during a call, allowing the smartphone to turn off the display and disable touch functionality on the screen. This prevents the user’s ears or cheeks from triggering unwanted actions during a call, such as hanging up or dialing a number. Turning off the screen also helps save battery life.
Proximity detection is a core feature used in all smartphones, but Elliptic Labs’ AI Virtual Proximity Sensor is a unique software-only solution that provides powerful proximity detection without the need for dedicated hardware sensors. By replacing hardware sensors with software sensors, AI virtual proximity sensors reduce equipment costs and eliminate procurement risks.
