Margaret Brennan of Facing the Nation had Noem explicitly admit that she had never met Kim Jong Un, even though she mentioned meeting him several times in her book:
MARGARET BRENNAN: That’s what you’re saying you didn’t meet with Kim Jong Un?
Kristy Noem: I’ve met many, many world leaders and traveled around the world.

Brennan also asked Norm directly if she wanted to be tough and celebrate a puppy and a goat she shot:

The interview was a classic disaster, culminating in a book Noam claimed she had to correct multiple times, filled with true stories:

Margaret Brennan: Well…
Governor Kristi Noem: We talk a lot about how we can use Donald Trump as an example of how he continues to be a real person and treat people authentically, and what bothers me most about politicians is when they’re fake hour.
Margaret Brennan: But if you had to withdraw it or part of it…
Governor Kristi Noem: I’m not – I’m not going to retract anything.
MARGARET BRENNAN: Okay.
Governor Kristi Noem: I’m not retracting anything.
MARGARET BRENNAN: Okay. Well, Governor…

Noem spent much of the interview complaining about Brennan’s use of her own words and quotes in questions. Noem continually complained that the interview was unfair because she was asked to explain her story in a book written under her own name.
Kristi Noem still thinks she could be Trump’s running mate, but she can’t even defend her words. Kristi Noem is delusional if she thinks America will accept her and let her get anywhere near the White House because she is probably mentally ill.
