According to a reporter from the Washington Post, the photo was taken about an hour before Trump delivered his speech.
Here’s what we know after nearly a decade of Trump rallies. Many Trump fans skip previous Trump speeches, so relying on photos taken before Trump’s speeches tends to underestimate crowd sizes. Having said that, there is no way the space where the rally will be held can accommodate 80,000-100,000 people. This is physically impossible unless people are laid down and stacked one on top of another.
Here’s a video of the crowd flooding:
There is also a video of people leaving the rally early:
Crowds leave Trump’s New Jersey rally
Any estimate of the actual crowd size is just a guess. Local officials estimate the number of people to be in the tens of thousands, and if all people in the venue area are counted, it may be possible to accommodate 10,000 people, but it is impossible to accommodate 80,000 to 100,000 people.
This will surprise no one, but Donald Trump and his supporters lied about crowd sizes because the evidence suggests that Trump is not a national giant but an oldie performing oldies on the beach , leading to a drop in attendance.
