Harry Litman posted the end of Cohen’s testimony:
“Do you have any regrets about your past work and association with Trump?”
I do. I regret doing things I shouldn’t have done for him. lie. Bullying. I don’t regret working with them – some fun and great times. But to remain faithful and do what He asks of me. I violated my moral code and my family and I were punished.

Cohen will next be cross-examined by the defense and then redirected by prosecutors. Trump’s defense is expected to begin soon and could consist of up to two witnesses. Trump has no plans to testify.
Cohen was a better prosecution witness than anyone expected. Since there were no cameras in the courtroom, we had to rely on the observations of those present, but reporters were impressed. It was expected that Michael Cohen might cause problems for prosecutors given his past actions, lies, and record, but the District Attorney’s Office appears to have done an effective job supporting Cohen with witnesses and documents.
If Cohen performs well on cross-examination and Trump is ultimately convicted, his former lawyer could be a big reason why.
