The spring transfer portal window has closed, and with fall rosters finalized, many moves have been made. Here are the 10 biggest wide receiver acquisitions on the transfer portal this offseason.
1. Evan Stewart, Oregon State
Stewart may not have put up five-star numbers in his two seasons at Texas A&M, but the coach Jimbo FisherStewart’s offense is too stale and Stewart’s abilities weren’t reflected in College Station, and that won’t be the case now that he’s transferred to Oregon State.
Still, Stewart led the team in receptions and receiving yards as a freshman, and as a sophomore, the former five-star recruit from Frisco (Texas) Liberty City Leads the team with four touchdowns in eight games. He could become one of the best players in college football for the Ducks.

2. Isaiah Bond, Texas
The top-100 receiver who led Alabama in receptions last season (didn’t have the same receiving yards or touchdowns as Jermaine Burton did), Bond may have more success as a coach. big numbers Karen DeBoeroffense, but he chose to leave the Crimson Tide with his retirement Nick Saban.

Burks led Purdue in all receiving categories with 47 receptions for 629 yards and seven touchdowns last season, but the offense wasn’t very strong. The former three-star receiver has become one of the best in the Big Ten and now heads to Oklahoma State, where faster guys will throw more balls and make Burke Si is in a position to explode further.

4. ANTWANE WELLS, JR., University of Mississippi
When Wells is on the field — he had 68 catches for 928 yards and six touchdowns as a junior at South Carolina — he could be one of the best receivers in college football. But Wells, who began his career at James Madison University before transferring to South Carolina and now Mississippi State, was injured for most of last year.
Now coaching Lane KiffinIf Wells’ offense gets renewed focus, he could have a breakout season and match (or exceed) the numbers he posted in 2022.

5. Cowlin Lacey, Louisville
Lost among some of the big names in the transfer portal is Lacy, the most productive receiver. He had a stellar career at South Alabama. He had 207 career catches for 2,517 yards and 13 touchdowns.
With leading receiver Jamari Thrash gone, Lacy could become an integral part of the Cardinals offense as they also bring in other talented players through the portal.

6. Matthew Golden, Texas
Golden, a four-star receiver out of Klein (Texas) Kane who transferred from TCU to Houston late in the recruiting process, tied for the team with six touchdown catches last season. lead. He also had 76 catches for 988 yards in his first two seasons with the Cougars.
The added bonus of Golden for the Longhorns is that he’s Houston’s primary weapon in the bubble.

7. Elijah Badger, TBA
The former four-star receiver from Folsom, Calif., ranked No. 132 in the 2020 Rivals250 class, spent the past two years at Arizona State. He really made the best of bad situations in Tempe, whether it was a messy coaching situation or an offense that wasn’t up to par (the Sun Devils threw eight touchdowns and 14 interceptions last season).
Badger has totaled 135 catches for 1,579 yards and 10 touchdowns over the past two years, so it’s surprising that he hasn’t chosen a new home yet.

8. JA’MORI MACLIN, Kentucky
Kentucky has made elite additions across the board, especially on offense, including former five-star quarterback Brock Vandagriff, Ohio State running back Chip Traianum (Chip Trayanum), and a host of receivers led by Maclin, who caught 57 passes for 1,004 yards and 11 touchdowns at North Carolina last season at Texas State. Last season, McClain had more than twice as many receiving yards as any teammate.

9. Mario Williams, Tulane University
Williams is ranked No. 16 in the 2021 Rivals250 class, and while not living up to his five-star standards, he produced solid numbers first at Oklahoma State and then at USC.
Tulane may be in need of a fresh start, as Williams also joins a large group of elite receivers in this class. He’s a five-star prospect for a reason, and now Williams will have one last chance to prove why.

10. Kiandre Lambert-Smith, Auburn
Lambert-Smith has been a contributor to Penn State’s offense for years and really broke out last season, leading the Nittany Lions in catches (53) and receiving yards (673). Now, he’s looking for a new beginning. Auburn has signed Lambert Smith, who joins an elite group of freshman receivers on the Plains after a series of programs struggled to get him aboard.
