Primary Wave Music forms the Sun Label Group, which brings labels including Sun Records, Gaither Music, Green Hill Music, Rural Rhythm and emeraldwave by Green Hill under one unified umbrella.
Paul Sizelove will serve as President of Sun Label Group.
According to the announcement, each label will retain “its unique structure, personality and respective teams.”
In addition to leading Sun Label Group, Sizelove will continue to lead day-to-day operations as president of Gaither Music Group.
Blake Davis will also continue as General Manager of Green Hill Music.
According to the announcement, Sun Label Group is “deeply rooted in the rich history of its brands” and its comprehensive music history “spans 160 years.”
The announcement added: “This merger not only honors the past, but also sets the stage for exciting new music experiences and platforms.
“As part of Primary Wave Music, Sun Label Group is committed to weaving together the past, present and future of the various labels that make up the group.
“This requires carefully protecting each brand’s heritage while injecting new energy into the future to ensure its legacy continues to grow.”
Primary Wave acquired the legendary Sun Records, which includes the masterworks of Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis, for $30 million in 2021.
Primary Wave partnered with Gaither Music Group in 2019.

According to the announcement about the launch of Sun Label Group, various projects will be launched in Sun Label Group next year.
