A recent New York Times poll was full of good news for Donald Trump, but MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough couldn’t handle it.
This week, he actually accused the New York Times poll of being biased in favor of Trump. Does anyone believe this is true?
Scarborough’s rant was just a drama. He knows Joe Biden will watch this show, so he’s making arguments that he knows Biden wants to hear.
NewsBusters provided a transcript:
Heilemann: I’m not saying it’s not close. I am not endorsing the New York Times or the methodology of this poll. Every time we talk about these things, I keep coming back to what I’m trying to say. That’s what I’m really interested in—and I know you know that. What do polls tell us about the direction of the campaign?
Scarborough: I understand. The New York Times/Siena poll has a difference, though, and you know it. It has had a disproportionate impact. This year, this cycle, it’s tilted heavily in Donald Trump’s direction. [Heilemann tries to speak.]
hold on. The New York Times takes headline-bait stories one dozen at a time.
Heilemann: And I, I want to focus on things that I think people should focus on [tries to continue]–
Scarborough:— [Interrupting] But what I want to focus on is that the New York Times is actively shaping the election cycle right now, with this poll coming out on Sunday, and on Monday, people are going to be like, oh — I heard that! I’ll just sit there, don’t be so stupid.
That’s why we do this. [Heilemann tries to respond. Scarborough shouts.]

Scarborough is just delusional, like most of his MSNBC colleagues.
