Trump and his supporters have been packing small groups into small areas. Trump supporters will almost certainly claim there are thousands of supporters there, but the reality is that similar events held in similar spaces typically draw hundreds, not thousands.
Staten Island is indeed a Republican area, so if a group of people from the New York area came out to protest Trump’s conviction, they would be there.
Rather than a show of strength, a Staten Island rally attended by Rudy Giuliani showed the weakness of Donald Trump, whose supporters don’t seem to care about his beliefs.
