Fans of the New York Jets quarterback were quick to confront him on social media. Rogers posted a video with Lewis on Instagram, and the comments section was filled with people supporting Trump. Rogers supported independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for president.
It was Trump’s first public appearance since he was found guilty in a New York criminal case last week.
Rodgers posted a photo on his Instagram Stories on Sunday showing him shaking hands with Trump between games.

Rodgers has been a frequent presence at team events organized by the Jets as they prepare for the 2024 season.

New York acquired Rodgers in a shocking trade with the Green Bay Packers last offseason. There was tremendous hype surrounding the quarterback and the team as they entered Week 1 of the 2023 season.
