More than two years since it raised $150 million in a funding round that valued the company at more than $1 billion, avatar technology startup Genies is launching what it calls the “Genies Creator and…” app for artists and companies using its technology. Partner Network”.
Genies’ new creator and partner network aims to connect cultural icons with innovative partners to “connect and power the next generation of avatar experiences,” according to a blog post on Thursday (July 11).

In recent years, artists such as Migos, justin bieber, and Paris Hilton Introduced elf avatars. Hilton is also an investor in the company Camilla Cabello. These artists have been using their elf avatars to connect with fans in new ways and express their brands digitally.
Genies has also struck deals with Warner Music Group and universal music group Explore artist avatars and NFTs for their artists.

Building the Avatar IP requires “consistent, high-quality content and strategic cross-media storytelling.” To support this, the company said it now offers services including creative strategy, content creation and marketing, allowing creators to launch their own profile accounts. These avatars can have dedicated social media accounts, such as Instagram and TikTok, to showcase their personalities and participate in cultural trends.
Genies added that it has made improvements to its avatar IP, turning Genies into 3D Starting from 2D, it “prepared for the inevitable expansion of opportunities in XR, artificial intelligence, and gaming fields” and optimized its avatar production time by 10 times.
