Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg told House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) that he was willing to cooperate, but only if Trump is sentenced and the appeals process is ongoing.

Jordan asked Alvin Bragg to testify before Congress next week, and Bragg responded as follows:

Bragg’s response can be summarized as he believes in transparency and is willing to work with the committee, but there is zero chance the district attorney will say anything about Trump’s case until the former president is sentenced and the appeals process begins.
Bragg knew what Jim Jordan was trying to do. Chairman Jordan is apparently trying to meddle in the Trump case to influence the former president’s sentencing. DA Bragg did not intend to participate in this game and is fully aware that Jordan has no oversight or authority over Bragg
All Jordan could do was ask Bragg to testify. If Jim Jordan had tried in any way to force Bragg to testify, the Ohio Republican would have failed in court.
Alvin Bragg could tell Jim Jordan to go pound sand, or he could very well suggest that he go find Jordan when he had time, and Jordan would do absolutely nothing about it except continue to complain on Fox News and Newsmax.
Jordan’s latest attempts to help Trump have gone nowhere.
