Amazon now offers restaurant delivery. If you pay for Amazon Prime, the shipping portion is free.
Amazon is currently embedding Grubhub into Amazon.com and the Amazon shopping app, and Amazon Prime customers who pay $139 per year for Amazon Prime can now pay a $0 delivery fee on orders of $12 or more, among other benefits.
Amazon previously offered Prime customers a free year of GrubHub Plus subscriptions, but the subscription automatically renewed for $129 per year. Now, it’s a permanent part of an Amazon Prime subscription.
Amazon says the ordering experience is “the same” as ordering from the Grubhub website or app and is accessible to all customers, even without Prime.
