A Los Angeles judge has ruled that Angelina Jolie must provide an eight-year nondisclosure agreement as part of a legal battle over the French winery she co-owns with Brad Pitt, according to documents obtained by Fox News Digital.
While Pitt, 60, prevailed in court, a source close to Jolie, 48, said the move was likely to be futile and could prolong the already difficult court case at Chateau Miraval.
“Pete and his team knew these confidentiality agreements would never see the light of day at trial. It was all a matter for the media,” a source told Fox News Digital. “They also knew it would force Angie to spend resources tracking down all this information, which was just another way to drain her resources and punish her for leaving.”

Judge Leah Martin ruled that Jolie must produce “all non-privileged documents in her possession, custody or control” between 2014 and February 2022 within 60 calendar days of the order, a request previously made by Pitt respond.
His legal team was interested in the confidentiality agreements because they included Jolie’s “alleged reasons for refusing to abide by her contractual obligations to Pitt” when she sold her stake in the winery behind Pitt’s back.

A Pitt source said the ruling was a “devastating blow” to Jolie’s fight for the award-winning winery and could weaken her central defense. However, Jolie’s lawyers are “more than happy” to comply with the judge’s order.

“An ordinary confidentiality agreement simply cannot compare to Mr. Pitt’s last-second attempts to cover up his personal misconduct,” Jolie’s lawyer Paul Murphy told Fox News Digital. “We are very happy to hand them over and we are pleased that the court recognized that the only potential relevance was the unreasonableness of Mr Pitt’s conduct, which is now recognized as the key issue in this case.
“The judge’s ruling completely opens the door for discovery on all issues related to Pitt’s abuse. We welcome the transparency from all parties, including Mr. Pitt, in their discovery responses. Angelina looks forward to the final conclusion of this lawsuit as it The false narrative continues.

The former couple bought a controlling stake in the company Miraval Castle In 2008, during their relationship, they both spent time at home. In 2021, Jolie attempted to sell her company Nouvel to Tenute Del Mondo, a subsidiary of the Stoli Group, effectively transferring her 50% ownership in Miraval. Pitt objected to the sale, claiming the move violated the contract between the pair.
Jolie’s company claims that Pitt has been the mastermind of a “revenge campaign” aimed at “plundering” profitable business since she first filed for divorce in 2016.
According to court documents previously obtained by Fox News Digital, Nouvel accused Pitt of “hijacking” Chateau Miraval and “wasting” the company’s assets on unnecessary renovation projects, including spending $1 million on a swimming pool renovation.

In March, the court rejected Jolie’s claims that Pitt’s lawsuit was frivolous and malicious and gave the green light for a trial.
