apple(NASDAQ:AAPL) said that its self-service repair software has been launched in 32 European countries including the UK, France, Germany and the Netherlands.
Apple Diagnostics for Self Service Repair, a software tool for users to solve problems, launched in the United States in December last year. The company had declare In December 2022, it will introduce a self-service repair program to Europe.
Canada will get the service next year.
The software enables users to test product part functionality and performance like an Apple Authorized Service Provider and helps determine if any parts need repair.
With this expansion, the service now supports iPhone, Mac and Studio Display models in 33 countries and 24 languages, according to the company.
The American technology giant noted that the service supports 42 Apple products, now including MacBook Air models equipped with M3 chips.
On Wednesday, Apple also released a white paper on its design principles for longevity — striking a balance between product durability and repairability.
