The WWDC keynote may be over, but we still have many questions about the current state and future of Apple Intelligence. Apple answered some of those questions here, which is a bit unusual: Craig Federighi and John Giannandrea, the two executives responsible for all of Apple’s AI efforts, are The Steve Jobs Theater took to the stage to talk all about Apple’s announcement Monday.
Federighi, of course, is Apple’s head of software, overseeing nearly every platform and feature we saw at WWDC. Giannandrea is Apple’s senior vice president of machine learning and artificial intelligence strategy and has long been an important figure in the field of artificial intelligence. (Before joining Apple, he was Google’s vice president of engineering, overseeing much of the same work.) Together, they’ve overseen Apple’s Siri improvements, work with OpenAI, bringing machine learning to devices and the cloud, and pretty much everything else. Other Apple announcements.
We’re at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park and will be blogging live as the event takes place. Don’t worry: There will be Siri issues.
