There’s a lot to like about Apple’s first new iPad in 2024. This means you can expect improved color performance, while ticking the usual P3 Wide Color and True Tone boxes. ProMotion means you’ll see an extremely smooth 120Hz refresh rate.
Internally, Apple uses the new M4 chip, which uses up to 10 CPU cores and 10 core GPUs to achieve incredible performance. You’ll need to choose a 1TB or 2TB configuration to get those 10 CPU cores, though, so keep that in mind. Other capacity models are equipped with nine-core CPUs. Other notable features include Wi-Fi 6E support and the option to get data on 5G-ready models (although this will cost extra).
