Earlier this year, Kamare Williams trimmed his list of projects to seven in a large part of his recalibration of his college football recruiting.
Since then, a program effort has really caught the attention of the Wellington (Fla.) Palm Beach Central star wide receiver. On Tuesday night, he returned the favor with a verbal commitment.
“We’re going to Arkansas,” Williams told his opponent. “They never stopped communicating with me. From the first time they proposed to me, it was always love.”

Williams said head coach Sam Pittman took the news of the early commitment well, with both sides agreeing his big size and physical style would be a good fit at the SEC level.
“The offense is the same as ours, so they can move me around the court,” he said.
Williams is coming off an impressive 2023 season in Palm Beach Central, catching 49 passes for 695 yards and six touchdowns, and the newest Razorback is happy to be off the board and will put most of the Leave the recruiting process behind.
Meanwhile, the focus has returned to his prep teammates, whose spot was locked up Saturday despite two dozen scholarship offers to his name.
“They’re going to get a dog,” Williams said, “They’re going to get a great player and I always show love to the fans.
