Authorities in Atlanta are offering a $50,000 reward for information related to three shootings Tuesday that left two 13-year-old boys dead and an 11-year-old injured.
Lamon Freeman, who would have turned 14, and Ja’Kody Davis, 13, were shot and killed near Oakland on Tuesday, Atlanta’s Fox 5 reported.
According to Atlanta police, the 11-year-old boy who was shot was Dontavious Davis, Giacody’s younger brother, who is currently being treated at the hospital and is in “stable condition.”

Atlanta police said officers responded to an apartment complex at 1043 Sparks Street SW around 12:36 a.m. Tuesday on reports of a shooting involving a teen. When police arrived at the scene, they found three young boys suffering from gunshot wounds.
Grady EMS pronounced one of the 13-year-old boys dead at the scene and the other 13-year-old boy later died at the hospital.

Homicide unit commander Lt. Andrew Smith told reporters at the scene Tuesday morning that the shooting did not occur inside the apartment but in a stairwell outside the individual residence.
Police have not released a motive, if any, or any further details leading up to the shooting.

No suspects are in custody in connection with the three shootings, but Crime Stoppers of Greater Atlanta and the Atlanta Police Homicide Unit are offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a suspect.
