Ben Affleck skipped Monday’s Met Gala following his “unhinged” rant at a Tom Brady roast the night before.
His wife, Jennifer Lopez, showed off her slender figure as she walked the carpet alone at the event hosted by Anna Wintour. Lopez serves as co-chair of the event, which is held annually on the first Monday in May.
Lopez looked dazzling in a sheer, bejeweled Schiaparelli gown. The “Let’s Get Loud” singer has attended 14 galas but has only served as co-chair once.
Alfred’s filming schedule forced him to miss a star-studded charity event celebrating the opening of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s 2024 Costume Institute exhibition. Affleck is filming The Accountant 2 in Los Angeles, a representative told Fox News Digital.
Tom Brady’s divorce from GISELE Bündchen mocked in Netflix comedy roast about retired quarterbacks
The “Fargo” actor was slammed online for his taunting of Brady on Sunday.
During the three-hour live special on Netflix, Affleck spent nearly six minutes on a microphone criticizing fans of the retired football quarterback. Brady was also mocked by Kim Kardashian, who did attend Monday’s Met Gala.
One social media user wrote: “Ben Affleck going on a wild rant about fans on social media at the Tom Brady Roast is not on my bingo card.”

The “Gone Girl” star spoke about how sports stars and other players have to read mean comments from “fans” online instead of mocking Brady.
“The fans support you,” Affleck said. “You guys talking nonsense behind your damn keyboards doesn’t make you a fan. It makes you an asshole.”
“I can’t think of a worse, dysfunctional, horrible work system that’s designed to make people feel bad forever.”
