I’m the Democratic candidate. I am this party’s nominee because millions of Democrats like you voted for me in primaries across America. You voted for me to be your nominee. No one else made you vote, the voters did. Still, despite all that, some people don’t seem to care who voted, well, guess what? They wanted to kick me out of the campaign.
Well, let me say this as clearly as possible. I’ll stay in the game. I will beat Donald Trump. I will beat him again in 2020.
The media and some Democrats can give up. Joe Biden will not step down and allow Vice President Harris or any other Democrat to be the nominee. Joe Biden is determined to go into this election and defeat Donald Trump for a second time. But Biden’s biggest task won’t be convincing the country that he can do the job, but his biggest challenge will be making nervous members of his own party We need to calm down and focus on the important task at hand, which is to save democracy and defeat Trump.
