Biden just keeps sinking. His approval rating took another hit in May, falling to its lowest level in nearly two years.
This is not surprising given the state of the economy, borders, national security, and more.
Breitbart News reported:
Biden’s approval rating drops to 36%, lowest level since July 2022
President Joe Biden’s approval rating fell to its lowest level in nearly two years in May, a Reuters/Ipsos poll showed on Tuesday, deepening reelection concerns.
Historically, a president needs an approval rating of around 50% to win re-election.
Only 36% support Biden, down two percentage points since April. That matched his lowest approval rating in July 2022.
Biden’s Main Street economic downturn is Americans’ top issue (23%), while 21% of respondents said political extremism is the top issue, followed by open borders (13%).
On the question of who manages the economy better, Trump leads Biden by ten points (40-30%).
Worse for Biden, he now trails Trump in fundraising numbers.
Hot air report:
Biden campaign falls behind in fundraising for first time
This is not good news for the Biden team. While the president’s poll numbers are still struggling, he can at least celebrate that his campaign’s fundraising is going strong, beating the Trump team every month. But things took a turn in April.
U.S. President Joe Biden’s 2024 campaign fundraising trailed rival Donald Trump for the first time in April after the former president stepped up a joint effort with the Republican National Committee and headlined high-dollar fundraising events .
The Biden campaign and the Democratic National Committee raised more than $51 million in April, down from the $90 million they raised in March, while Donald Trump and the Republican Party reported less than $76 million in revenue for the month, the campaign said.
There’s something in the air now.
The 2024 election will no longer look like the 2020 election.
