Since Biden took office, at least 145,000 Chinese citizens have entered the United States illegally, 86% of whom are men of legal age. The U.S. intelligence community’s annual threat assessment identifies the People’s Republic of China as the greatest threat to national security. The intelligence community also lists Islamic extremist terrorism as one of its top five threats.
Last year, 169 known terrorists and 615,000 individuals classified as “other” in the Terrorist Screening Data Set (TSDS) illegally entered the United States. In addition, cartel members, gangsters, drug dealers, human traffickers and other transnational organized crime (TOC) groups from Mexico and Latin America are involved.
China, Russia, and Iran pose significant national security threats to the United States, but these threats are far removed from the daily lives of most Americans. They are sophisticated and focused on preventing future conflicts or attacks.
However, the southern border is a looming issue affecting daily life, with a steady influx of illegal immigrants. President Biden has the authority to secure the border and address this threat, but despite taking nearly four years to address the issue, his policies have increased illegal immigration and national security risks while costing taxpayers money.
Since the Biden administration took office, the number of illegal immigrants entering the United States has hit a record high every year. 2021 set a record, which was broken in 2022 and broken again in 2023.
Since Biden took office, a total of 6.2 million illegal immigrants have entered the United States. Biden has instituted policies of open borders, unbridled illegal immigration and questionable asylum claims.
Subsequent executive orders broadened pathways to citizenship, increased access to public services, reduced the number of denials, and expanded taxpayer-funded refugee resettlement programs.
On his first day in office, President Biden rescinded an executive order directing the Department of Homeland Security to enforce immigration laws, including denying admission to individuals who are ineligible because of criminal convictions, security reasons or false statements on their applications. Biden’s new executive order also reverses a Trump-era policy that blocked sanctuary jurisdictions from receiving federal funds.
The Trump-era executive orders President Biden has rescinded include authorizing construction of the southern border wall, detaining individuals suspected of violating federal or state laws, deporting people whose asylum claims have been denied, cooperating with state and local law enforcement on immigration issues, requiring refugee resettlement Obtain jurisdictional consent for resettlement, enforce existing grounds of inadmissibility, bar entry to aliens who may commit violent, criminal or terrorist acts, and end so-called “catch and release” programs.
Biden’s liberal policies on illegal immigration pose a huge threat to national security. Among the illegal immigrants are individuals on the Terrorist Screening Data Set (TSDS) and terrorist watch lists, including 169 known terrorists who entered the country last year.
Additionally, an increasing number of Chinese citizens are not subject to scrutiny for ties to the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) or the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Nearly all (86%) of the Chinese citizens encountered at the border were unaccompanied men of military age, totaling 145,000. Under Chinese law, any legal or illegal immigrant from China can become a potential agent.
Article 7 of the “National Intelligence Law of the People’s Republic of China” stipulates: “Any organization and citizen should support, assist, and cooperate with national intelligence work in accordance with the law, and keep the secrets of national intelligence work that they know.”
This effectively requires all citizens to act as agents when needed. The FBI has investigated and prosecuted multiple cases of Chinese citizens acting at the direction of their government to steal U.S. secrets or technology, or to conduct espionage against Americans, Taiwanese, Tibetans, or other Chinese citizens in the United States, and to threaten arrest or A case of punishment for his family.
The president’s border funding proposal includes additional funding for illegal immigrants and asylum seekers in blue states and work permits for asylum seekers.
Additionally, the bill encourages illegal immigrants to bring their children with them when they enter the United States illegally. This approach is seen as encouraging more illegal immigration by providing better accommodation and financial support, rather than curbing illegal immigration. Additionally, the bill includes additional funding for Ukraine that has nothing to do with border security.
Open borders pose such a clear threat to national security that writing this article seems redundant. However, the Biden administration’s refusal to secure the border necessitates addressing the issue.
