There have been a number of dormant horror series resurrected over the past few years—yours alienHalloween, stranger, etc. (sorry, Jason.) Some of these are courtesy of Blumhouse, which is now working on resurrecting another old movie: my bloody valentine.
Every bloody disgusting, the horror studio is in the early stages of developing a new movie. Currently, this is only A word about the movie: It’s unclear if this is another remake, or a sequel to the previous version. It’s unknown who’s behind it, or if original director George Michalka will be involved.
original my bloody valentine Released in 1981, it focuses on a group of young people Valentine’s Day Party Things get serious when a killer in mining gear starts hunting them. It initially received mixed reviews, but in the decades since, it has found a cult audience and earned $5.7 million at the global box office. Lionsgate Films Takes remake it Back in 2009, this was the first R-rated movie to get the 3D treatment. As with the remake as a whole, the 3D technology wasn’t entirely embraced by critics, despite ultimately grossing $100.7 million at the box office.
Valentine’s Dayof The remake ends with a preview of the sequel that co-writer Todd Farmer and director Patrick Lucier intend to produce. According to Farmer in 2020, the follow-up film will be a more psychological film and will see some of the survivors from the remake return. But after the movie was met with a lackluster response, Lionsgate said “no thanks,” and no studio has touched the pseudo-franchise since. Last year, fans created their own Legacy sequel to the original film Valentine Bluffs Movie The story is set 40 years later and focuses on a new killer who takes over the miners.
