Boxer Tommy Fury has announced his split from social media influencer Molly-Mae Hague after more than a year of engagement.
The couple, who met on the 2019 series of ITV2 reality show Love Island, welcomed their only child, a daughter named Bambi, in January last year.
Less than an hour after The Hague announced their split, Fury posted another post on Instagram, saying he was “heartbroken” by the end of their relationship.
Just three weeks before the split, Haigh shared a video on Instagram calling Fury “the love of my life,” marking the one-year anniversary of Fury’s proposal.
Sharing news of the split, Hague wrote: “Never in a million years did I think I would have to write this.
“After five years together, I never thought our story would end, especially not this way.
“It is with great dismay that I announce that my relationship with Tommy is over.
“I will always be grateful for the thing that means the most to me, now and forever, my beautiful daughter.
“Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority.
“I want to thank you all for the love you have given us over the past five years. You have all been a part of our journey and I feel it is only right to share this with all of you.
“While I try to get through the next few days and weeks, please respect my privacy during this difficult time and I will be back when the time is right. Molly-Mae x.”
Fury said in the post: “I am saddened to share that Molly and I have decided to end our relationship.
“Over the past five years we have had our beautiful baby girl, Bambi, and I will always be grateful to Molly for making me a father.
“Bambi is our top priority.
“Please respect our privacy and that of our family as we work through this difficult time.”
The couple recently starred in a Netflix reality show At home with Furys Along with Fury’s half-brother, boxer Tyson Fury.
Fury, who has had successful fights with YouTubers KSI and Jake Paul, has previously admitted that Hague “hates” boxing.
He told BBC Breakfast last year that the 25-year-old internet celebrity tolerated boxing because “she knows how happy it makes me”.
He has had a hand injury for four years and said in January he had undergone surgery.
