A helicopter carrying Iranian president and mass murderer Ibrahim Raisi crashed while visiting the northern region, and his condition is reportedly unknown, Karen Linebarger reported earlier.
In addition to Raisi, Foreign Minister Hussein Amir Abdullahian and other officials and bodyguards were also on the plane. The helicopter was reportedly located around the village of Uzi in the Arsbaran forest.
Twenty rescue teams and drones have been dispatched to the area. However, rescuers have been unable to reach the scene due to heavy fog.

During his career with ISIS after he was appointed to the top judicial post, he was a member of a small committee that ordered the execution of thousands of dissident politicians in 1988, Impacto 24/7 reported.
He has been accused of human rights abuses and subject to U.S. sanctions for decades.
During Raisi’s term as president, the government faced numerous protests following the death of Mahesa Amini, a young Kurdish woman in police custody. The authorities responded with a brutal crackdown, including murders and executions.
