British-born music company ATC Group, owner of ATC Management, has reached what it calls a new “collaboration agreement” with renowned Chinese music company Modern Sky.
According to the announcement, the arrangement is designed to expand the global reach of the Modern Sky brand and its portfolio of talent and events globally (outside of China), with an initial focus on the UK market.
At the same time, Modern Sky said that this will help cultivate the growth of artists in the ATC talent pool in China.
ATC Management represents over 60 artists, songwriters and producers including Nick Cave, The Smile, PJ Harvey, Yaeji, The Hives, Sleaford Mods, Johnny Marr, Black Country, New Road, Kelela, Isobel Waller-Bridge and Kwes.
Last week, ATC acquired a majority stake in Raw Power Management, which represents rock and metal artists including Bring Me The Horizon, Bullet For My Valentine, The Mars Volta, The Damned, You Me At Six, Don Broco, Heartworms, Kid Kapichi, Chisel and Denial.
In the area of activities, Modern Sky aims to co-invest and grow its investment portfolio outside China.
We also focus on how to make ATC artists more actively participate in Modern Sky’s activities in China.
In terms of merchandise sales and e-commerce, the two companies will establish a mutually beneficial service network for priority artists on both lists in their respective markets.
ATC Group manages artists through ATC Management and has recently invested in Raw Power Music, live booking agency ATC Live, merchandise company Sandbag, live streaming business Driift, ATC Services and ATC Experience.
The company is headquartered in London and has offices in Los Angeles and New York.
In 2021, ATC raised £4.15 million ($5.2 million) and listed on the Aquis Stock Exchange Growth Market under the ticker symbol ATC.
