Chelsea Clinton is reportedly seeking to serve as ambassador to the UK or France if Kamala Harris wins the presidency.
Multiple sources spoke to the New York Post about the matter, suggesting the Clintons have been working on the plan for some time.
“Chelsea really wants to be ambassador to the UK,” a source revealed. “There’s a reason Bill and Hillary came out and endorsed Kamala for president in the first five minutes — they were fawning.”
The same source said Chelsea would be willing to serve as ambassador to France, while another said she would be open to working in other countries.
“I’ve heard for a long time that Chelsea have been hoping for an ambassadorship,” a second source said.

Chelsea Clinton ambassadorship in the works?
In stark contrast to former President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton were the first to endorse Joe Biden after he abandoned his re-election bid One of Harris’s men.
“We are honored to join the President in supporting Vice President Harris and will do everything we can to support her,” the Clintons said in a statement posted on X.
“Now is the time to support Kamala Harris and do whatever it takes to elect her.”
Some see Biden and Clinton’s quick endorsement of Harris as an attempt to force Obama into submission. Now, sources believe the Clintons’ support may have a more perverse reason.

is it possible?
A long-serving British embassy official seemed to suggest that Chelsea Clinton’s youth and inexperience, not to mention her lack of fundraiser status, meant she was unlikely to be offered the ambassadorship to the UK.
They told the Washington Post: “I can totally imagine that the UK ambassadorship was an aspiration for Chelsea, even though she was a bit younger – and London would typically be involved in large-scale donation or fundraising events.”
The first source is a bit blunt.
“This is certainly a fantasy land,” they said.
According to the “Washington Post” report, sources said that serving as ambassador to South Africa would be a better choice for Chelsea Clinton.
“She cares deeply about public health. She is well-known and well-liked in South Africa,” they said.
A better solution would be Chelsea Clinton as ambassador to Haiti.
