Wolf Blitzer cut off CNN’s broadcast at 11:24 ET and said, “We’re going to continue to listen to the former president. But obviously there’s no teleprompter. He’s going to improvise.” . He was against almost everything.
Erin Burnett added: “Wolf, the fascist state, is of course the most prominent line. But when you point to another key on the teleprompter, it’s very improvised, so you get a growl and a heavy Wen the case and how he viewed it. But that was kind of holding the sack, right? Talking about the polls was talking about his role, or taking the witness was talking about the electric car. I mean, it was very demoed. Disjointed.
At 11:24 a.m. ET, CNN cut off Trump’s broadcast. By 11:28 a.m. ET, MSNBC also cut off Trump.
The fact that two cable networks made the decision to dump him is important because Trump’s victory in the 2026 election will be largely based on billions of dollars in liberal media. Eight years later, after being convicted of 34 felonies, Trump’s remarks were not even fully reported.
By pointing out that Trump spoke extemporaneously without a teleprompter, the network provided viewers with important factual context about Trump and his ability to communicate effectively. Noting that Trump’s teleprompter was off and disjointed highlighted his mental condition and provided important context for Trump’s actions.
For years, cable news has treated Trump’s unhinged state as normal, so it’s refreshing for CNN to point out the precise context of Trump’s comments.
CNN It goes without saying, but Trump is clearly in a different mental state than he was in 2016, as evidenced by his failed attempts to reverse his beliefs.
