“10 girls, two bathrooms,” she screenshots from the video, which shows several women doing hair, makeup and trying to get ready in several rooms.
Gauff wrote in another comment, “All the tennis girls moved to the hotel except me. So now there are only 5 girls with two bathrooms.”
The tennis star said she borrowed a mattress from the archery team to help her sleep on the cardboard bed.
Despite backlash, Paris 2024 officials believe opening ceremony’s goal of showcasing community tolerance was achieved
On the eve of the Paris Olympics, the Olympic Village has been a hot topic. Visibly crowded conditions are one thing, but rules banning the use of air conditioning raise another issue.
Paris 2024 organizers have not installed air conditioning in rooms in the village. The cooling system was put together to use naturally cold water from a depth of 70 meters, which will be circulated on the floors of the building to reduce the temperature inside the apartments.
The decision is part of the organizing committee’s goal to halve the carbon footprint of the Paris Olympics and host the largest Games to date by installing special technology that uses natural resources to keep everyone cool even during potential heat waves. A sustainable Olympics.
